Sleeping at our House (or the lack of)

It's happened! Colin is sleeping through the night! I'm so excited! He only wakes up once in a while early in the morning. Of course now Devin has started having nightmares. He's up 3-4 times on those nights! Last night he told me that his bed is scary! Come to find out that he dreamed about a spider in his bed! Poor thing! It would be very difficult to sleep if your bed was scary! Well, I finally talked him into sleeping on top of the covers with an extra blanket. I hope you're all enjoying the blog. Finally we're Blogging

Hello to all! I've had a lot of friends telling me that I need to start a Blog. I've been meaning to, but between the move, the new baby, the Holidays, the cold season, house hunting, and recently our family vacation, I finally got to it. We're living in Riverton Utah now, and still getting used to the snow. It's been a long hard winter with more snow than usual, so I hear. In fact, it still feels like winter most days. We had a glorious day on Sunday with temperatures in the 70's (Yes, the 70's), but today it's snowing again. Enough is enough! We've had over 6 months of winter now with our first snow fall being on September 31st. We're done with it.

Colin, is 7 months old today! He was colicky for a while, but he's now on medicine for acid reflux and gas and now he's an angel! Every once in a while we have a rough night, but most nights are pretty good. He's up usually once a night, and takes 2 good naps in the day. Thank goodness for naps, because adjusting to #3 has been a lot harder than I expected. 2 Kids were a lot easier than 3 has been.

In January we started House hunting and in February we put a couple of offers on two fabulous houses. And here we sit waiting to hear back still. They are both Short Sales which means that the owners owe more on the house than they are selling it for and the bank will have to take a loss. Because the bank loses they go through this whole process of appraisals and stuff. We've been in pins and needles about the whole thing, but if we don't hear back this week we're going out looking again this weekend. It's been frustrating.

We just went on a family vacation to So. Cal.! It was fun to see our old friends again and to see family and go to Disney. Most of all it was nice to get away. The kids got sick one night while we were there, but after getting to know the bathroom really well, we still made the most of our trip. We can't wait for our trip back next year!
